Semester Exams begin this week! Attached is the schedule for semester exams & the Roane County Semester Exam exemption policy. 1st & 2nd Block exams will take place Wednesday, December 13th in the morning, & 3rd & 4th Block exams will take place Thursday, December 14th in the morning. Only students that need to make up a semester exam should attend school on Friday, December 15. Any students that may receive semester exam exemptions must get these forms signed (by teachers & a parent/guardian) & turn in these forms no later than TOMORROW (Tuesday, December 12th) by the end of the school day in order to officially be exempt from a semester exam. If the forms are not properly signed and turned in, the student will NOT be exempt from the exams. Also, Friday, December 15, is a HALF DAY!

The OSHS Environmental Science class is conducting research on water infrastructure issues in Oliver Springs. This only pertains to people who use Oliver Springs City Water. Parents, do not forget that students must have a doctor or parent note brought in to the front office when they miss school. Students are only allowed 6 parent notes a year.
The truancy steps are as follows:
After 3 days - letter sent home
After 5 days - have a meeting
After 7 days - do 3 hours of after school
After 10 days - go before truancy board
