Due to staggered days at the beginning of the school year, our BES Kindergarten students will be celebrating the 100th day of school on February 20th. Other grade levels will be celebrating tomorrow, February 5th.
It's coming!!! Our World’s Finest Chocolate sale begins February 9, 2024, and ends February 23, 2024. Sign up forms will be sent home Monday, February 5, and students will check out boxes beginning February 9 if they have a signed form from a parent/guardian.

- Attendance will be taken as usual tomorrow, Friday, December 15, 2023. If your child is absent, please send a parent or doctor’s note when we return on January 3, 2024.
- Breakfast will be served tomorrow, but lunch will not be.
- Buses will run as usual.

The Harriman Community has experienced a great loss of one of our own, this morning. As many of you may know, Preston “P-man” Wells has been battling illness for several years. P-man passed early this morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and community as we mourn this loss.
We wanted to share a few reminders with our Bowers family.
Students will attend school on Monday and Tuesday only, as we are closed the remainder of the week for our Thanksgiving holiday. Brilliant Brains tutoring will not be held Monday and Tuesday.
Roane Chamber Taste of Roane is tomorrow, Saturday, November 18, from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM in Harriman on Walden Avenue. Enjoy free photos with Santa, holiday crafts, inflatables, food trucks, and live entertainment!

Don't forget! We are observing Veterans Day tomorrow, and all students and staff members are asked to wear red, white, and blue. Also, it's our Food Drive "Fill It Up Friday"! We are asking students to help fill their classroom Food Drive box tomorrow. We hope everyone has a wonderful afternoon!

Ms. Palmer is a kind, compassionate, hardworking teacher who has been a classroom teacher for over 7 years. Every day she strives to make sure her students’ basic needs are met, to ensure know they are loved, and to foster a love of learning while at Bowers. Good Afternoon, Kindergarten Families! There has been a district-wide change in the start date for Kindergarten. The new start date for ALL Kindergarten is Monday, August 21, instead of Thursday, August 17. If you are in Group A or B your child will come Thursday, August 17. If you are in Group C or D your child will come Friday, August 18. Everyone will begin coming Monday, August 21. Please let your child's teacher know you have received this message.
