Congratulation to Kindergartener, Ryder Kitts, who earned the spot as the Bowers VIP Kid for 2025-2026. Ryder raised the most money from the Ten to Win fundraiser. Oh the weather outside is not quite frightful but is definitely getting colder. Tomorrow will be the coldest day we’ve had this school year. Students go to recess as long as the temperature (with windchill factored in) is above 32 degrees. It’s time to start sending those coats and gloves with your child. We encourage you to put your child’s name in their coats, as many of our students wear the same size and color. If your child is in need of a coat, please contact your child’s teacher or the front office. Bundle up, friends! We will see you tomorrow!

Good Evening, Bowers Family! We hope that everyone has enjoyed their Fall Break doing all the things that time off from school allows. Classes resume tomorrow, Monday, October 20, 2025. Doors will open at 7:30 AM with breakfast being served in the cafeteria. Buses will run on a regular schedule. Remember that students should be in class by 8:00 AM, and our tardy bell rings at 8:10 AM. We have missed you all and hope that you come to school tomorrow rested, relaxed, and ready to begin our second nine weeks of school. See you tomorrow!
Good Afternoon, Bowers Families! This is a reminder that we will be closed this week due to fall break. We look forward to seeing students on Monday, October 20, 2025. We hope that you will enjoy a time of rest and relaxation. Enjoy the fall colors, read a good book, and spend time with family. Lil’ Sweethearts and Lil' Boyz Dance Camp is October 4th! Camp is open to all K-5th grade students who want to dance, learn, and have fun! Please return your form along with the $30 registration fee by October 1st. Additional forms are available from Mrs. Jenkins or the front office.

This is a reminder that our "Ten to Win" fundraiser ends on Tuesday, September 30. Students should have received a collection form along with an explanation of each prize level. If you need an additional copy, please ask the front office or your child's teacher.
The goal is for students to ask ten extended family members, friends, neighbors, and community members to donate $10 to our school.
Funds raised will be used to purchase permanent sunshades for the playground and additional Chromebooks for student use.

A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be at Bowers next Tuesday 9/30/2025 to photograph our Fall pictures.

Don't forget our Grandparents' Dinner this evening, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Cost for adults is $5.00. Children under 18 eat free. Our book fair will be open throughout the evening.
