Mrs. Emily Page, Math Coach

I have been with the school district for 27 years, working at both Walnut Hill Elementary before it merged with Bowers Elementary, where I work now as a math coach. My role is to help our teachers utilize instructional tools in the classroom so our students are engaging in math lessons and learning needed skills.

I am married with two children who both graduated from Harriman High School. I enjoy hiking, spending time with my family, and reading.

Math Resources

The following resources will be helpful at home to encourage continued learning.

Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computing, history, art history, economics, and more, including K-14 and test preparation (SAT, Praxis, LSAT) content. We focus on skill mastery to help learners establish strong foundations, so there's no limit to what they can learn next!

We’re working hard to ensure that Khan Academy empowers coaches of all kinds to better understand what their children or students are up to and how best to help them. See at a glance whether a child or student is struggling or if she hit a streak and is now far ahead of the class. Our teacher dashboard provides a summary of class performance as a whole as well as detailed student profiles.

XtraMath® is an online math fact fluency program that helps students develop quick recall and automaticity of their basic math facts. Students with a strong foundation of basic math facts will have an easier time when they begin to tackle more advanced math, like fractions or algebra.

Aligned with standards, XtraMath was designed for K-6 elementary school students but is also used by older students for review or intervention. Students of all ages can benefit from XtraMath!

XtraMath reaches over 5 million students every school year.
